Update 4.0 for SEM

A concept of Industry 4.0 potential analysis with focus on mid-sized companies

Regarding shortened innovation cycles as well as the increasing complexity of products an identification of potentials concerning the realization of Industry 4.0 is inevitable for German mid-sized companies in the long-term to guarantee its international competiveness.

Based on the results of a qualitative expert survey, the Update 4.0 Concept aims at the identification of potentials of Industry 4.0 concerning internal and external characteristics of a mid-sized company with focus on production.
