Abstract: In this paper we present a graphical editing concept to extend the capabilities of the subject-oriented process-modeling language PASS. The concept builds up on the arbitrator-pattern-inspired PASS-interpreter and clarifies its ad-hoc instance extension and exception handling mechanisms. The paper thereby proposes the arbitrator pattern as a possible alternative for the PASS guard mechanism.
