Emilija Janchevska studied from September 2004 to October 2008 computer science at the Faculty of German Engineering Education and Industrial Training ( FDIBA ) at the Technical University of Sofia. In 2008 she did her voluntary internship at the Institute for Information Management in Engineering (IMI). After graduating in her computer science undergraduate studies, she took a master's degree in industrial engineering at the FDIBA. She graduated successfully in December 2010 by completing her master thesis in Technology Management at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Afterwards she worked in a company for alternative post-solutions in the field of quality management in Macedonia. Since October 2012 she works as a research associate at the Institute for Information Management in Engineering (IMI) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
