Successful comeback of the PLM-CAD-Workshop

In the PLM-CAD-Workshop the students learn how to work with a PDM system (SolidWorks EPDM) and a CAD system (SolidWorks) as part of a practical challenge. The teams had predefined tasks and worked along the product development process. The main focus was the PDM system, including both administration and use of the software. The design was implemented with SolidWorks. In this context the students also ran assembly simulations and motion studies. Finally, the cad designs were realized with LEGO Mindstorms. Due to the successful comeback the PLM-CAD-Workshop will from now on be offered every semester.
