Learning Outcomes
Students can:
• illustrate the structure and operating mode of information systems
• explain different goals of specific IT systems in product development (CAD, CAP, CAM, PPS, ERP, PDM) and
assign product development processes
• describe the fundamentals of knowledge management and its application in engineering and deploy ontology
as knowledge representation
• describe different types of process modelling and their application and illustrate and execute simple work
flows and processes with selected tools

Lecture Language: German

The course will be limited to roughly 40 participants. Applicationes will handled according to the first-come-first-serve principle via the ILIAS-course starting on the 20th April 2020 at 20:00 o'clock. The password for joining will be given in the first lecture.
