Vita

Mehdi Salehi holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Polytechnic University of Milan. As industrial experiences, he has worked for eight years as a manager of the technology and CNC programming Dept. in Kennametal Hertel AG production plant in addition to application engineer of machining processes and cutting tools in Mitsubishi Material Corp. and Seco Tools AB sales agents in Iran.  As a research and development experience, he was involved in a European research project H2020, namely "smart machine tools" in Polytechnic University of Milan for one year. Since February 2015, he has been working in Institute of Materials and Processes of Karlsruhe University of Applied Science as a research and development engineer. His doctoral project is about feedback-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in the era of Industry 4.0.
